My name is Dee Cantellay and this is my 11th year as a teacher at CFS. I teach junior high math (6th), science (6th - 8th), and Bible (6th), as well as have the administrative duties of International Students Coordinator and Curriculum Coordinator. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (University of Washington), a Master’s Degree in Teaching, and a Washington State Teaching Certificate.
I love teaching at CFS because I am not only given the great opportunity to educate the students in academic subjects, but also have the awesome responsibility to positively impact our students emotional, social, and spiritual lives. I am able to team with awesome parents who desire great futures for their children!
I am married with three children (Sophomore in college/CFS graduate, 11th, and 8th grades) who also attend CFS. One of my passions is travel, having spent a few years in Germany and Holland as an Air Force “brat”. We have traveled a lot as a family, but it is definitely high on my list of desires to do much more! In the meantime, we keep busy exploring our own little corner of the world whenever we can.
God is faithful, even when we are not sure how things will work out. God is able, even when we don’t see a way. God loves us, even when we can’t imagine it. For these things, and much more, I am eternally grateful!
