Why should my child attend PCA?
Christian education is strongly supported in the Word of God: "You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you lie down, and when you rise." Deut. 6:7, Prov. 22:6, Psalm 1:1-2, Jer. 10:2, Prov. 1:7.

What is the cost to attend PCA?
Each of our tuition is divided out to 10 payments August - May; If you start mid year you will be given a prorated amount with first payment due on the first day.

Is there financial aid or scholarships available?
Yes! We do offer Financial Assistance. It is awarded to families who sincerely desire a Christian education through an application process.

How do PCA students compare to the nation in achievement scores?
Our students consistently score higher than the national average.
Do you accept students/families that are non-Christian?
Non-Christians are accepted from all over the world under the following conditions: 1.) They are able to speak English, 2.) They have great character, 3.) They have high test scores, and 4.) They are favorable and positive about Christianity.
What co-curricular and sports programs are available?
Soccer, Volleyball, Boys’ Basketball, Girls’ Basketball, Cheerleading, Track & Field, Art, Instrumental and Vocal Music.
4th & 5th Grade (5th Graders can play up in Junior High for both sports below)
What are the transportation options?
At this time parents provide transportation to and from school.
PCA not only celebrates a diverse community but serves parents from beyond Federal Way. Parents from Kent, Fife, Auburn, Tacoma, and Des Moines, choose to educate their children at PCA. Many parents choose to organize carpools on their own and find it a wonderful option.

Describe the facilities at PCA.
We are located in a beautiful rural setting near Weyerhaeuser and World Vision with easy access to Hwy 18, Hwy 99, I-5, Hwy 167, & Peasley Canyon. Our campus includes a full playground, outside fields and we are close to secure hiking trails. We currently have a Capital Campaign in progress for our new building which will house 16 additional classrooms and a gymnasium.

We offer daily Bible classes, weekly chapels, and Biblical worldview integration in every area of curriculum.
What technology is used at PCA?
Currently in use are 30 computers in our secondary lab and media center, 6 computers in our elementary media center, 14 mounted ceiling projectors, and 17 digital Elmo readers for classroom instruction. We offer two mobile carts with 24 laptops for our teachers to use as needed in the classrooms.
What is the association between church and school?
PCA is an independent Christian School— unaffiliated with any church. We are, however, partnering with local churches to prepare students to make a difference in today’s world!
What is the Dress Code?
We do not require a uniform, but we do have guidelines for dress outlined in the Student Handbook. We desire to train students to consider every part of their decisions in preparation for life success.
