I am the new Receptionist for the 2018-19 school year and can’t wait to greet you at the front desk or on the phone. I will also be the Volunteer Coordinator and hope you join my team to help the students and staff have an amazing year.
I grew up in Texas and taught math in the Dallas area. When my husband and I had our two babies, I was blessed to become a stay-at-home mom. Not wanting to be away from the world of education, though, I found a way to continue tutoring math students. Later, we relocated to Ohio for a few years where I got to tutor and substitute teach. Now that we recently moved to the Seattle area, I couldn’t help but find another way to be in a school environment. I love being able to help others, especially in a way that blends education and faith in Christ. What an awesome privilege to be free to encourage others and grow in the Word at work! It’s also great that my 8th and 10th graders attend CFS, so I get to be part of CFS as a parent. This inspires me to do my very best for this school like nothing else could. I truly feel a part of this family and want to help you feel the same.
My family and I really enjoy being in the PNW and exploring the unique beauty God created here. We especially love having our little dog joining us to do that as often as possible since she is our favorite furry family member. I also like to travel, cook/bake, watch TV/movies, read, and do some gardening.
